PRIVACY STATEMENT ON THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
 

With this privacy statement we, Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ICI), in our capacity as the data controller, aim at informing you about your personal data processed pursuant to the Article 10 “Disclosure Obligation of Data Controller” of the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“Law”) aiming at protection of the fundamental rights and liberties of persons, particularly the privacy of private life, which was published in the Official Gazette dated April 7, 2016 and numbered 29677 and to the Communique on the Principles and Procedures for the Fulfillment of Disclosure Obligation published in the Official Gazette dated March 10, 2018 and numbered 30356.

1. YOUR PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED

Your personal data set out below are processed by ICI with a view to provide you with information about the “Türkiye’s Top 500 Industrial Enterprises Survey”, to evaluate your views, suggestions, requests and complaints and to enter into written and verbal communication with you under this scope:

  • Your Identity Details : Name and surname, company title if you are a sole proprietorship
  • Your Contact Details : Email, mobile phone

2. PURPOSES, METHOD AND LEGAL GROUND FOR COLLECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

Your personal data listed below and provided by you through Internet in electronic environment during the continuation of our relation are processed to provide you with information about the “Türkiye’s Top 500 Industrial Enterprises Survey”, to evaluate your views, suggestions, requests and complaints and to enter into written and verbal communication with you under this scope, based on the legal grounds that ‘Processing of data is mandatory in order to protect the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that the fundamental rights and liberties of the data subject are not thereby impaired’, pursuant to the article 5/2-f of KVKK.

3. TRANSFER OF THE PROCESSED PERSONAL DATA

Your personal data may be shared with our partners and suppliers at home and abroad for purposes described in Article 1 of this Privacy Statement under the scope of the provisions of Article 8 “Transfer of personal data” of the Law.

4. RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT

You have the following rights concerning your personal data pursuant to Article 11 of KVKK.

  • Learn whether their personal data were processed or not,

  • Request information about the processed personal data,

  • Learn the purpose of processing of personal data and whether they were used in accordance with the purpose

  • Know the third persons at home or abroad to whom personal data were transferred,

  • Request the correction of personal data if they were processed incompletely or incorrectly,

  • Request deletion or removal of your personal data,

  • If the personal data were corrected, deleted or removed, request sending information about it to the third persons to whom the personal data were transferred,

  • Object to any result against yourself ensuing from the analysis of the processed data exclusively through automatic systems,

  • Claim indemnification of any damages resulting from unlawful processing of personal data.

5. TO CONTACT US FOR ABOUT YOUR RIGHTS AND REQUESTS

Pursuant to the provisions of Article 11 of the Law, you may submit your requests related to your personal data under the scope of your legal rights to the address Meşrutiyet Cad. No:63, 34430 Beyoğlu/İSTANBUL with a letter drawn up in conformity with the requirements given in the Communique on the Principles and Procedures of Application to Data Controller” either in person after verification of your identity or through Notary Public. Furthermore, you may also send it to the registered email address (KEP) at iso@hs03.kep.tr with secure electronic signature and mobile signature.
